The mind of the Church means ‘the way the Orthodox Church thinks’: the traditional mentality based on the teaching of Holy Scripture, the Ecumenical Councils and the Fathers of the Church. The author believes that assimilating this way of thinking is a contemporary pastoral need. It comes not as the result of an intellectual process, but as the fruit of our spiritual rebirth within the Church. The book analyses what the Church is, its characteristics and who its real members are. It sets out in detail that secularisation of members of the Church is its gravest danger.
